Parent Council

Covenant Christian Academy is much more than an academic environment.

It is a Christian community where families share similar beliefs and a common worldview. As CCA students are growing, learning, playing sports, participating in fine arts, and building friendships through their many years at school, CCA parents are engaged in serving the school, doing life together, and building deep relationships along the way. CCA’s administration, faculty, staff, and parents are partnering together to cultivate a rich community that feels more like a small town than just a school.

Parent Council is the campus-wide volunteer organization that unites CCA families and staff in the service of our school. Through involvement in Parent Council Committees, parents help plan and execute school events and activities throughout the year. There is a place for everyone and every CCA parent is invited to get involved. Simply put, we believe that every volunteer at our school is a member of Parent Council!

CCA has many committees in place under outstanding volunteer leadership. Please see our list of Committees & Descriptions and a Photo Roster of Parent Council Officers and Committee Chairs.

The goals of Parent Council are to serve our school and build community. In addition to supporting CCA though planning and executing over 40 school special events and serving at many ongoing activities through the year, Parent Council offers monthly meetings that provide campus-wide information and updates, opportunities to make connections and meet new friends, a way to contribute your unique skills and valuable talents at CCA, and lots of fun!

Covenant Christian Academy thrives with the extensive involvement and community of our parents. To get involved, complete the Volunteer Survey and join us at the next Parent Council All-School Monthly Meeting.

Friendship is a Treasure I Found Through Serving

Serving through Parent Council has made CCA a close-knit community for our family as it has provided the opportunity to meet many parents and families who we otherwise would have never met. I love seeing my kids on campus and sharing the “school” side of their lives with them. Utilizing my skills and abilities to benefit the place where my kids spend so much of their childhood has been a blessing. Through Parent Council I’ve made great friends simply by saying “yes” and it is a joy to spend time with these friends as we serve together.
