director of college and Academic Guidance – 2025-26
  • Provide professionally informed advice and structured processes regarding students; aptitudes, interests, and college admission goals, beginning in eighth grade.
  • Implement and build upon an established four-year approach to the college search, applications, admission, and financial aid.
  • Maintain established relationships with colleges and universities while pursuing additional opportunities to expose colleges and universities to CCA’s exceptional students and educational programs.
  • Supervise individual course credits and graduation requirements, transcript integrity, and co-curricular eligibility.
  • Facilitate standardized testing in the High School (PSAT, PreACT, SAT, and ACT).

Early Childhood TEACHER, Pre-K 4 yr old or Kindergarten – 2025-26
  • Responsible for daily instruction of Christian Early Childhood curriculum. 
  • Potential openings in PreK 4-year-old (3 day or 5 day) or Kindergarten.
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience is preferred.

ELEMENTARY TEACHER, Grades 1, 2, or 3 – 2025-26
  • Responsible for daily instruction of classical Christian curriculum. 
  • Potential openings in Grades 1, 2, or 3.

MIDDLE SCHOOL 7th & 8th GRADE SCIENCE TEACHER – 2025-26
  • Responsible for interactive instruction in Earth Science (7th Grade). A “hands on” approach with an emphasis on both laboratory and critical thinking skills.
  • Responsible for interactive instruction in Physical Science (8th Grade). Intro to chemistry and physics through both lectures and experiments.

Middle school 6th Grade Texas History and Language arts teacher – 2025-26
  • Responsible for 6th grade Texas History instruction (3 sections) – Explore the timeline of Texas starting with the Ancient Peoples through US statehood using maps, chargers, graphs, timelines, hands-on projects, and re-enactments to bring the subject to life.
  • Responsible for 6th grade Language Arts instruction (3 sections) – Literature-based with emphasis on reading comprehension strategies, vocabulary development, spelling, grammar, and writing. 
  • Lead annual Texas History trip
  • Serve as a homeroom teacher for 1 section.

Long-term substitute teachers – 2 positions: Pre-K Teacher & music teacher for PK3-2nd grade – Spring 2025
  • Both positions will begin in March and go through May 15, 2025.
  • PreK4 Teacher – Experienced teachers preferred.
  • Music Teacher – Music experience is preferred.

Applicants for all positions should:
  • Be able to articulate a Christian worldview based on an active life of faith in Jesus Christ and faithful attendance in an evangelical church.
  • Have a degree in the field of teaching for which they are applying, or its equivalent.
Applicants for teaching positions should also:
  • Be able to describe the general distinctives of classical Christian schooling as compared with other conventional forms of education.
  • Be able to articulate a motivation to disciple students in an educational environment like CCA.
